Zara von Zandt is a beautiful 19 month old German Shepherd. Lovely Zara is sweet and loving once she's had some time to get comfortable. She was given up by a family who didn't have time for her and can be a bit shy but, once she gets to know you, she wants to please! We were told that she can be playful, but she is not a bold girl, more of a cautious one.  She starts her daily walks somewhat hesitant, but is good on the leash and stays close. We think she would love another dog in the home. In canine playgroups, she relaxes and meets the other dogs well, even making friends with another pup and giving little kisses. She seems to know her basic commands, including sit/stay/down. Her previous owners noted that she is housebroken and crate-trained. If you are looking for a lovely female, Zara just may be the one for you.
